APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS:
* A recognised diploma in Training & Education/ Vocational
qualification (QQI Level 7 minimum) in Literacy and Numeracy related
subject areas or similar
* Significant and relevant experience of working with young people

* A learner centred and flexible approach to training and meeting
learner needs
* Good IT Skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* An awareness of QQI and the National Framework of Qualifications
Applicants will also have experience of delivering QQI Level 3 & 4
modules in the following core subjects:
APPLICATION OF NUMBER, FUNCTIONAL MATHS AND COMMUNICATIONS
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Supporting learners with modules leading to Major QQI Level 3 & 4
awards as per their ILP
* Assessment and monitoring of learner course work in the relevant
skills area to QQI level standards
* Assisting with the planning, development and implementation of CTC
programmes and services within a Quality Assurance Framework
* Provision of supports to learners including active participation
in case conference and key-working and one-to-one support work
* Supervision of learners and other duties as appropriate
This post is fixed term to cover a 9-month maternity leave contract.
